Ursa Major Bear Constellation Necklace
We love this new mini-collection of constellation necklaces by Eclectic Eccentricity. Taking inspiration from the star filled world above us, we are reminded to look up and appreciate the wonder of the beasts in the sky!
Often used as a navigational pointer towards the North Star, The Big Dipper is the third largest constellation in the night sky and can be visible throughout the year in most of the northern hemisphere.
Ursa Major, from the Latin for 'the greater she-bear', is mentioned through the centuries by poets and writers and is the subject of many myths.
In an ode to this, a dainty gold or silver bear pendant forms part of a larger constellation with two shining gold and silver stars and is suspended from a gold or silver plated chain.
The bear pendant measures 2.5cm long and the necklace length is 45cm approx.
